"Can I buy a
dumbwaiter through your Website?"
Yes... it's easy, just follow these
simple steps: |
Step 1:
Browse the various models and get a feel
for features, prices, and sizes. Answer all the questions on the Dumbwaiter
Information & Pricing Request Form and submit the form to us.
This will help both of us decide which model would work best for you and
help us come up with a price and recommended specifications for you.
We will send you an email quotation or a formal purchase agreement based on
your situation.
Step 2:
Once the price and "specs" look good to you and you want to go
ahead with the order, we will bill you for the down payment amount due. We accept payment
by company, bank or cashier's check or money orders in US funds. We do not accept debit or credit
cards or non-US currency. Please make checks payable to: American
Elevator Corporation, PO Box 47117, Seattle, WA 98146.
Step 3:
Once we receive your down payment, we will get busy preparing shop drawings
for your job. If you haven't yet, we ask that you now send us some
drawings or sketches of your project, just those parts of
your plans that show the dumbwaiter. You can mail, fax or email us
drawings. We don't need the whole set, just the parts that show the
dumbwaiter at each floor. We will call or email you with any questions. We want to make sure
it will be a good fit!
Step
4:
Carefully review the shop drawings
which will show the equipment and the shaft dimensions and details. If
you need to change anything, now is the time. We'll re-do the drawings as
many times as necessary until they are just right for you. We
require your signature on the final drawings which authorizes us to
manufacture the dumbwaiter according to the dimensions you have approved, and
your final payment to
release the order to production.
Step 5:
Once your dumbwaiter has shipped, we notify you and give you a
tracking number. Your order arrives and you inspect it for any
shipping damage, noting if there is any on the delivery receipt and begin
your installation. You will soon be enjoying your new dumbwaiter.
