Excel Features:The Excel
is a good mid-priced stairlift with several unique features and
benefits for you:
1.
A seat height of nineteen inches (19") at the top landing can be obtained with as little as 3
inches of track over-run into the top landing space. This means the Excel can work
well for basement stairs with a door at the top, and also stairs which meet a hallway or
have some other obstruction at the top.
2. "Smart-charge" maintenance -free batteries are
standard on the Battery Operated System (B.O.S.) version so that the lift can continue to operate normally in case of power
failure.
3. Soft-starting is standard equipment for smooth, graceful starts-
a feature not found on most other makes. This is a nice
touch!
4. Wireless
remote controls are available at no extra charge on the B.O.S. version
model.
5. The Excel has a nice, neutral, compact design.

degree locking swivel seat at top landing. Seat and footrest fold to 14" (355mm) from
wall.
Seat and Footrest Height: Both are adjustable. Standard seat
height is 19" (483mm) at the top landing and 24" (610mm) at the bottom landing.
Safety Devices: Footrest and carriage obstruction sensors, seat
belt, swivel seat cut-off switch and final limit switches, built-in 10amp circuit-breaker.
Controls: Soft-start constant-pressure up-down controls on seat
and Call/Send controls at upper and lower landings.
Unit Color: Ivory white powder-coated.
Upholstery: 4 choices- Mauve or Oatmeal fabric, or Taupe or
Misty Grey vinyl.
Certifications: UL and C/UL listed. Meets ASME
A17.1 requirements.
Limited Warranty: Five year on drive train, two year on component
parts.
